Please answer every question thoughtfully and completely. Your answers help our adoption team determine whether your home, experience and expectations are a good match for one of our parrots.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or reserve a bird. Approved applicants must attend multiple visits at Feathered Friends before an adoption is finalized. Applicants must live within 2 hours drive time to be eligible for adoption.

10 Agreement and signature

I understand that parrots require substantial attention and maintenance, and that medical care, enrichment and proper nutrition can be costly. I agree to provide an adopted bird with a proper diet, enrichment, attention, environment and medical care.

I agree that I will not use a bird adopted from Feathered Friends Sanctuary & Rescue as a breeder, and that I will not willfully neglect or abuse an adopted bird.

I understand that I must attend multiple visits at Feathered Friends to bond with the bird before an adoption can be finalized. If I am later unable to keep the bird, I agree to contact Feathered Friends.
